BTW, the first time I had egg nog I made it myself. You use lots of half and half and a bit of heavy cream, along with a ton of eggs and a few spices. If you want to know how to make it, you should do an internet search for the recipe.
I just remember I had to cool the heated recipe quickly, so I set it in the freezing cold on my back porch, where a dog nearly got it (grin). True story!
